Emma Ksongs has been working part-time as Director for Friends for Hope since its inception. We are excited to announce we are increasing his position to a full-time position, which will not only bless his family, but also the students and families a part of FFH.

Emma's passion for children to receive a quality education and Christ-centered discipleship is inspiring. He works tirelessly to ensure all the FFH children are doing well in school and at home.

Emma grew up in Jinja and currently lives in the area with his wife and daughter. His reputation of humility and servitude for God is well-known not only across Jinja and surrounding villages, but throughout the US as well.

We are excited and honored to have Emma devoting his full energy towards Friends for Hope as we strive to bring hope to the children and families in the Njeru District.

As a gift, we are sending Emma and his wife on a getaway for a few days before he begins full time with FFH. We are blessed to have him! Please join us in congratulating Emma and be praying for him during this transition.

Summer 2018

We had three teams serve along Friends for Hope staff in Uganda this summer. Both teams worked tirelessly to meet the families of Friends for Hope, visit the school our students attend, deliver gifts from sponsors to their child's family, teach discipleship classes and host the 2nd Annual Celebration Banquet.

Their time was memorable as they reunited with old friends, met new friends and had the honor of God do some amazing things right before their eyes. 

Each person who came looks forward to continuing their partnership with Friends for Hope and bringing their friends and family to Uganda in the future to see the work of God through Friends for Hope.

June 26, 2018

Friends for hope students are working hard in school and making great academic progress. We want to celebrate their progress and honor their parents at a special banquet on June 26, 2018. The banquet will be held at the Jinja Sailors Club where our students, along with a parent, and our Friends for Hope staff will enjoy a beautiful dinner and fellowship. Join us in celebrating these student's hard work and honoring their parents by sponsoring a ticket to the Banquet.

The banquet will be hosted by a collaboration of Teams coming to serve Friends for hope in June 2018. Dana Whitton, President of FFH, is organizing the event.
