The Team
The Ugandan team works tirelessly to serve all the FFH students and families. Often, they make financial sacrifices to ensure that others are cared for, putting them before their own needs. Our Ugandan team members are not paid through our student sponsorship donations. However, like our students, they need sponsors to support them financially. They each need multiple sponsors to help provide them a livable wage.

Emma's passion for children to receive a quality education and Christ-centered discipleship is inspiring. He works tirelessly to ensure all the FFH children are doing well in school and at home. Emma grew up in Jinja and currently lives in the area. His former work as a social worker provided him with the invaluable experience he needed to step boldly into the position of director.

Andrew is our newest team member to Friends for Hope, he received his degree in social work hit the ground running to ensure the FFH students are succeeding in school as well as life. He pours every ounce he has into the children of his community. Andrew grew up with Emma and shares his passion to help give the children of Uganda hope in a brighter future.

Pastor Bob is one of the most humble men you will ever meet. In addition to being the Pastor at Sonrise Church in Jinja, he helps to lovingly disciple the Friends for Hope students and boldly teach them about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
