What's covered

Sponsorships cover school tuition, some school supplies, and holistic care. Click here for a complete list of Sponsorship Coverage.

Staff salaries, student medical care, and emergencies are not covered by individual sponsorship. Donations to the Children's Fund and Staff Sponorships help cover those needs. No more than 9% of your sponsorship donation helps to cover operating expenses.

FAQs

question 5.png

How are sponsorship dues collected?

Automatic, recurring donations are set up through DonorBox once you sign up as a sponsor.  These dues pay for the upcoming term of school.
question 5.png

Will my sponsorship level increase?

Level 1 Students graduating to Level 2 are required to be in Board School. Therefore, full sponsorship increases to $90 a month when the student enters P6. Or two co-sponsors can sponsor a Level 2 child at $45 a month. Sponsors are notified of this upcoming change one year in advance.
question 5.png

What do the grade levels mean in uganda?

Level 1 Students are in Nursery through P5, which is equivalent to Preschool to Elementary School.
Level 2 Students are in P6 & P7 (Junior High), S1-S6 (High School), and University.
Boarding typically begins in P6 but in some cases younger students can benefit from boarding.
